Coldrolled strip made of low-carbon steel
Steel strip is, in fact, a type of rolled steel, thin sheet steel of small width, which is produced by the method of cold rolling. The standard form of delivery is in rolls (bays). During delivery and storage, to avoid corrosion, the bays can be packed in oiled paper.
Carbon and low-carbon steel alloys are usually used for its production. The surface of the tape is usually galvanized or another protective coating is applied to it – to increase the service life in wet or aggressive environments.
The price of coated cold-rolled strip will by default be higher than the cost of uncoated strip.

The strip is made:
- extra soft (Russian OM),
- soft (M),
- semi-hard-worked (PN),
- cold-worked (N),
- highly-hard-worked (VN).
Soft and especially soft tapes are distinguished by increased characteristics of softness, flexibility, low weight (compared to hardened options) and a lower price.
As the level of tempering increases, the strength index of the steel strip increases and the ability to withstand a higher level of load.
The product is manufactured on the basis of approved quality standards of metal alloys.
