The strip of grades 2420, 2421 is produced in the assortment:
The tape is delivered annealed. At the request of the consumer, the tape can be supplied with an electrically insulating coating and without a coating.

Electrotechnical anisotropic and isotropic tapes are types of electrical steel, a variant of a ferrous metal alloy with improved electromagnetic properties, which are achieved by increasing the level of silicon in the alloy. The presence of silicon in the composition and the nuances of the alloy manufacturing process determine the final properties of steel products. Rolled steel with a small amount of silicon has a lower relative magnetic permeability, higher magnetic losses and a large saturation induction.
Steel products with an increased presence of silicon in the composition are characterized by lower hysteresis and eddy current losses, as well as high magnetic permeability in weak and medium fields. The greater the amount of silicon in steel, the lower its density and the higher the specific electrical resistance. However, the fragility of the steel alloy is higher in comparison, for example, with the structural one.
Isotropic steel, like anisotropic steel, is a type of electrical steel with certain characteristics, namely: the properties of isotropic steel are the same both across and along the roll. Anisotropic steel is characterized by the most effective conductivity only along the rolled section.
As a result, isotropic steel is usually used to create rotating electric machines, and anisotropic steel is used to create transformers.
